Halloween

I know these pictures are over a month late and I should be posting pictures of my lovely Christmas decorations and not Halloween!!! Well I would have posted them earlier but November was just a crazy crazy month!!! Plus my computer has been extremely slow lately at uploading pictures and I was busy and just didn't have the patience to wait for them.
This Halloween Riley was 18 months old. He was a cute little pumpkin. He didn't like us holding him still to put his costume on but once it was on he was ok with it. The hat was a little big and he didn't like it that much. We thought he would only last for a couple of houses but he started getting excited and loved seeing people drop candies in his bag. He got lots of candy and we only went out for about 45 minutes. Jesse dressed up as a vampire. We found that costume last minute at Walmart for only $6. I was a witch!! I seem to be that every year, maybe next year I will be something else otherwise a witch is all anyone will ever see me as lol! We had a good time though and the weather really cooperated well. Every Halloween it is usually cold and snowy but we were lucky for once this year.

Catching up on my October blogs

So I have been really slacking on my blogs lately. I am just trying to catch up on my October blogs I could have just skipped all my October blogs but I thought everyone would want to at least see some pictures of Riley and what he has been up to.
Starting about the middle of Oct and lasting for a month, Riley hated his bath. He would be fine playing in there and as soon as we would start washing him or rinsing his hair he would look like this. He would stand up and keep wanting to get out and it took Jesse and I both to wash him and hold him down so he wouldn't get out. We are not quite sure what that was all about. About 2 weeks ago he started liking his bath again and now he gets mad when we take him out. It is weird how one minutes toddlers hate something and then they love it.

Making a mess as usual

Making a funny face

He loves reading books on the stairs, not sure why!

He started opening the dishwasher just over a month ago and would climb in it, start pulling out the cups and dishes and the sharp knives. So we decided to put a stop to that by getting a latch put on it.

Riding his horse

He likes to climb on his toys and then can't get down.

Riley is my little helper. Everytime I sweep the floor as soon as I am finished or even before I start sometimes, he wants to have a turn. He gets this big smile on his face cuz he thinks he is helping. It's so cute. Hopefully he likes to help me this much when he is a teenager.

Excited after finishing a doughnut!!
